The Historian House is a department within the Tuscarora Nation of Indians Cultural Resource and Preservation Office. The department is responsible for the preparation and publication of the official documentary records that pertains to government-to-government relations. Such documents include treaties and policies that impact Tuscarora people and their environment.
 

The Historian House also assists in recommendations regarding the identification and preservation of historical records. The house also answers to public and government inquiries on historical government relations question.
